BORN AGAIN IS ETERNAL LIFE

A MESSAGE TO MYSELF - ME

A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE I KNOW - YOU

Isaiah 9:6 says:

"For
... Unto us a Child is born,
... Unto us a Son is given;
... And the government will be upon His shoulder.
... And His name will be called
... ... Wonderful,
... ... Counselor,
... ... Mighty God,
... ... Everlasting Father,
... ... Prince of Peace."

In the midst of all the political rantings,
in the midst of ungodly behavior,
in the midst of worshiping other gods,
in the midst of ignoring God's Truth,
in the midst of people dying
in the midst of people entering eternity in Heaven or Hell,
in the midst of all people needing THE Savior of the world,
WE EACH MUST CRY OUT FOR
... The Child who was born,
... The Son who is given;
... The government ordained by Him.
... The One who is named
... ... Wonderful,
... ... Counselor,
... ... Mighty God,
... ... Everlasting Father,
... ... Prince of Peace.

There is a Hell where people are.
... They do not RIP
... They suffer in darkness and will forever
There is a Heaven where people are.
... They do experience God's Presence
... They do know Jesus, their Savior
... They live in glory and will forever

Jesus, The Savior, said to Nicodemus and therefore says to everyone always, 

“Most assuredly, I say to you, 

unless one is BORN AGAIN, 

he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Paul, an apostle said and therefore says to us,

"That if you 
CONFESS with your mouth 
the Lord Jesus, and

 BELIEVE in your heart 
that God raised Him from the dead, 

you shall be SAVED."

Going to a church weekly does not get us to Heaven.

Belonging to a denomination does not get us to Heaven.

It can be a troubling thought when someone passes away, wondering if they were BORN AGAIN, if they confessed with their mouth and believed in their heart, wondering if they gained Heaven or entered Hell. Eternity is forever and ever, never to end.

We can know if someone is BORN AGAIN because of their confession and their heartfelt belief, and because we see a transformed life lived before us. Otherwise, we cannot for certain know where they are spending eternity.

Whether we know or know not about someone else's spiritual condition, we must be concerned for our own spiritual condition.

Paul, the apostle said, 

"Therefore, my beloved, 
as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, 

but now much more in my absence, 

WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION 

WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING;"

Without Christ in our hearts, facing an eternity in Hell comes with fear and trembling, and is thus an ETERNAL DEATH.

With Christ in our hearts, facing an eternity in Heaven comes with peace and glory, and is thus ETERNAL LIFE.

Paul, the apostle said, 

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

WE WILL ALL PASS FROM THIS EARTHLY LIFE TO AN ETERNAL PLACE. THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN KEEP US FROM ETERNAL DEATH AND BRING US TO ETERNAL LIFE, IS JESUS CHRIST, THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, THE SON OF GOD WHO HAS THE GOVERNMENT UPON HIS SHOULDERS.
